The tour by the Himalaya Land Treks encapsulates all of the best cultural and historical attributes of Tibet to present its visitors with a beautiful adventure.
The Tibet Tour starts with a beautiful flight to Lhasa- the second most populous urban city on the Tibetan Plateau, lying at an altitude of 3,656 meters- making Lhasa one of the highest located cities in the world. A religious and administrative capital of Tibet, Lhasa presents its visitors with many culturally significant sites and Tibetan Buddhist treasures like the Potala Palace, the Jokhang Temple and the Norbulingka Palace among others.
Likewise, the Tibet Tour presents the visitors with Lhasa's eminent sites like the Sera Monastery, the Drepung Monastery, and the Barkhor Market as well. With Lhasa translating to "Place of Gods" in the Tibetan language, the city certainly is a cornucopia of Tibetan Buddhist hallmarks.
For example- the Potala Palace, built at an altitude of 3,700 meters in the center of Lhasa valley, was the resident of the Dalai Lama. The Jokhang Temple similarly, is the most sacred and important temple in Tibet. The Norbulingka Palace and its park are one of the largest man-made parks in all of Tibet.
The Tibet Tour lets visitors explore the Sera Monastery as well- one of the grand monasteries of Tibet renowned for its blooming red and white roses. Also, the tour presents exploring the Drepung Monastery- the largest of all Tibetan monasteries in the country. In the same way, the Barkhor Market is a vibrant marketplace that surrounds the Jokhang Temple.
The Tibet Tour is a perfect short trip to enjoy Lhasa's amazing wonders. With Himalaya Land Treks, you will get the best services and guidance. We also have numerous other trips in both Nepal and Tibet. Join us for a brilliant tour of Tibet's marvelous sites!
