Altitude Sickness in Everest Region

Altitude sickness if you choose the trekking to Everest Base Camp, you should be aware of a possible threat called altitude sickness. Altitude Sickness, also known as Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS), is a sickness in which the human body becomes unable to cope with the Himalayan atmosphere. The symptoms of the illness generally start when climbing or walking above 3000 meters. There are several preventive measures which can be taken to avoid altitude sickness. Travelers should not walk fast at a higher altitude as the oxygen thins your body starts to feel sick and unusual.
