Overview

Khumbu region is one of the most visited places by tourists. Every year, during spring and autumn seasons, hundreds of trekkers flock to Khumbu region to see or climb Mt. Everest, world’s tallest mountain. If you are interested in going to see Everest but you want to avoid crowds, and then Everest Heli Tour by the Himalaya Land Treks is the best option for you. On the Everest Heli Tour, you can enjoy a lavish ride while enjoying breath-taking views of the mountains in the Everest ranges. Along with the surreal display of the Himalayas, you can also enjoy the natural scenery of the Sagarmatha National Park.

Within a few hours, you can explore the Everest region and see other mountains like Thamserku (6608 m), Ama Dablam (6856 m), Nuptse (7861 m), and the Mt. Everest (8848 m) itself. You wake up early and head to the domestic airport to board the helicopter. Then, you head northeast and enjoy the hilly landscapes. As you leave the Kathmandu Valley, you start to see the mountains in the Ganesh, Langtang, and Gauri Shankar ranges. It takes around an hour to reach the Khumbu region where you land at Kalapatthar. Here, you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Mt. Everest (8848 m), Cho Oyu (8201 m), Lhotse (8516 m), Nuptse (7861 m), Ama Dablam (6856 m), and many more. You have your breakfast and enjoy the view for about 20 minutes.

However, you do have to be careful to not put extra stress on your body. Since the Everest Heli Tour makes a stop at Kalapatthar at an altitude of 5545 meters, the participants have to be careful about altitude sickness. You can enjoy this ride any time of the year but the views are better during the spring and autumn seasons. During the winter and monsoon seasons, the weather conditions are less than ideal due to fog, heavy rain, and snowfall. As a result, the Heli tours along with the flights to and from Lukla can be delayed or canceled.

With Himalaya Land Treks, you can enjoy your desired packages at reasonable prices. We offer you various packages you can enjoy at any time of the year. Himalaya Land Treks is driven to provide you with the best services and hospitality in Nepal.
