Kathmandu-Chitwan-Lumbini-Pokhara Tour

Upon arrival at Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will welcome you to Nepal and assist you with your luggage. From there, you will be transferred to your hotel in the city.

First, you will visit the ancient Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, located on the banks of the Bagmati River. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is considered one of the most important pilgrimage sites for Hindus. You will have the opportunity to witness Hindu cremation rituals at the riverbank.

Next, you will visit the magnificent Buddhist stupa of Boudhanath, one of the largest stupas in the world. This stupa is an important pilgrimage site for Tibetan Buddhists and is surrounded by monasteries and traditional Tibetan shops.

After that, you will head to the hilltop Swayambhunath stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple. This Buddhist temple offers breathtaking views of the city and is famous for its resident monkeys.

In the afternoon, you will visit the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square, where you will see ancient temples, palaces, and courtyards. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a fascinating display of Newari architecture and craftsmanship.

After breakfast, you will leave Kathmandu and drive to Bhaktapur, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its well-preserved ancient architecture and intricate wood carvings. Here, you will visit the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, the Nyatapola Temple, and the Dattatreya Temple. You can also explore the traditional pottery workshops and the famous Peacock Window.

After exploring Bhaktapur, you will drive to Nagarkot, a popular hill station located at an altitude of 2,175 meters. The drive to Nagarkot offers stunning views of the Himalayas, including Mount Everest on a clear day. Once in Nagarkot, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the mountain range and the beautiful sunrise or sunset.

You can also opt for a short hike to the nearby villages, where you can interact with the friendly locals and learn about their traditional way of life. In the evening, you can enjoy a cozy bonfire and a warm meal at your hotel.

As you approach Chitwan, you will notice the landscape change from hills to lush green forests and wetlands. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel and enjoy a traditional Nepali lunch. In the evening, you can take a jungle walk or enjoy a cultural show.

During your stay at Chitwan National Park, you will have the opportunity to explore the park's diverse flora and fauna, learn about the local Tharu culture, and experience the beauty of Nepal's natural landscape. It's a perfect destination for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts alike.

Your day in Chitwan will start with an early morning jungle walk, where you will have the opportunity to spot wildlife in their natural habitat. You will be accompanied by an experienced guide who will share their knowledge about the park's ecology and wildlife.

After the jungle walk, you will return to your hotel for breakfast. You can then choose to either go for a canoe ride on the Rapti River, where you can spot crocodiles and various water birds, or go for a jeep safari, where you can see animals like tigers, rhinos, and elephants up close.

In the afternoon, you can enjoy a traditional Tharu cultural show and learn about their unique way of life. You can also visit the elephant breeding center and learn about the conservation efforts being made to protect these magnificent creatures.

After breakfast on Day 6, you will begin your drive from Chitwan to Lumbini, which will take approximately 5-6 hours. As you leave Chitwan, you will be greeted by stunning views of the Himalayan foothills and the lush Terai plains. The drive will take you through small villages and towns, giving you a glimpse into the rural lifestyle of Nepal.

Upon arriving in Lumbini, you will check into your hotel and have lunch. In the afternoon, you will begin your exploration of this important pilgrimage site for Buddhists. Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Buddha, and as such, is home to many significant Buddhist sites. The most important of these is the Maya Devi Temple, which is believed to be the exact spot where Lord Buddha was born.

In addition to the Maya Devi Temple, you will also visit other important Buddhist sites such as the Ashoka Pillar, the Sacred Garden, and the Lumbini Museum. You can take a peaceful stroll around the tranquil grounds and soak in the spiritual atmosphere of this important site.

On day 7 of your Kathmandu-Chitwan-Lumbini-Pokhara tour, you will be driving from Lumbini to Pokhara. After breakfast at your hotel in Lumbini, you will start your journey towards Pokhara, which is located about 200 km west of Lumbini.

The drive will take around 6-7 hours, and you will pass through some beautiful landscapes, including lush forests, terraced farmlands, and small villages. You will also cross several rivers and bridges, offering you stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

As you approach Pokhara, you will be greeted by the majestic Annapurna mountain range, which provides a stunning backdrop to the city. Upon arrival in Pokhara, you will check into your hotel and have the rest of the day to explore the city's serene lakeside and enjoy the stunning views of the Himalayas.

In the evening, you can enjoy a relaxing dinner at one of Pokhara's many restaurants, which offer a variety of local and international cuisine. Overall, the drive from Lumbini to Pokhara is a scenic and enjoyable journey that offers a glimpse into Nepal's diverse landscapes and cultures.

After breakfast, you will embark on a full day of exploring the beautiful city of Pokhara. Your first stop will be at Davis Falls, a stunning waterfall that cascades down into a deep gorge. From there, you will visit the Gupteshwor Cave, a natural wonder with intricate rock formations and a hidden waterfall.

Next, you will head to the World Peace Pagoda, a Buddhist monument that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and the city below. You can take some time to meditate and reflect on your journey before heading back to the city.

In the evening, we will organize a special farewell dinner for you, featuring traditional Nepali cuisine and cultural performances. You will have the opportunity to try some delicious dishes such as momos, dal bhat, and chow mein, while enjoying the sounds of Nepali music and dance.

As you leave Pokhara, you will drive alongside the scenic Phewa Lake before ascending the hills to reach the charming town of Kusma. From Kusma, the drive will take you through winding mountain roads, passing through quaint villages and terraced farms, and offering breathtaking views of the Himalayas in the distance.

After a few hours of driving, you will reach the bustling town of Mugling, where the Trishuli River meets the Narayani River. From here, you will follow the Trishuli River upstream and pass through the beautiful city of Malekhu, famous for its fish delicacies.

Finally, you will enter the Kathmandu Valley, and the drive will take you through the city's busy streets before reaching your hotel in Kathmandu. You can spend the evening relaxing at your hotel or exploring the city's vibrant nightlife and street food scene.
