The Pokhara Sarangkot Trek starts from the lake city of Pokhara- the tourist hub of Nepal. The trekking trail meanders through the region's sublime woodlands of maple, oak, and rhododendron to another famous destination- the vantage point of Sarangkot from where the entire panorama of the valley with the Himalayan tapestry decorating the skyline is quite unforgettable. Sarangkot is also famous for housing adventure sports like paragliding and zip-lining.
The Pokhara Sarangkot Trek is perfect for people who have a short amount of time to spend in Nepal. It is easy and can be done by people of all age groups. The best time to do the trek would be the spring and the autumn months for the best visibility of the mountains.
