    In this short trek, you will cover approximately 69km distance to reach the Base Camp, otherwise, normally ABC trek covers a total distance of 110km.

    On the very first day, after arriving in Kathmandu you will prepare for the destined trek. The next day you will drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. The journey to the Annapurna region starts here from Pokhara. On the third day, the trial takes from Pokhara to Kilyu and Trek to Chhomrong. Then you will further trek from Chhomrong to the Himalayas.

    The trek is filled with mesmerizing views of peaks and other natural resources. On the fifth day the trek routes from Himalaya to MBC (3700m/12139ft). It takes 5-6hrs to reach Macchapuchre base Camp from the Himalayas. The route from Himalaya takes trekkers with changing terrain that goes from verdant greens to rock obliques and snowy vast lands. Here the routeway becomes quite strenuous than the previous trek. 

    And on the sixth day, you will trek to the final destination ‘Annapurna Base Camp’ (4130m/13550ft). After enjoying the majestic views of nature the trek descends to Sinuwa. It is just a 4-5 hours long trek, but the route is quite difficult. The vast snow terrain makes the path strenuous. The next day the trek returns to Kilyu from Sinuwa. It is a 2-3hr long downhill trek. Then the journey drives back to Pokhara. 

    The next day you will bid goodbye to the panorama of the Annapurna region and the journey ends after returning to Kathmandu.     Everest Base camp trek vs Annapurna Base Camp trek

    Everest Base Camp trek is more challenging than Annapurna Base Camp Trek. The major factor is altitude. Trekking to Everest base camp has a rapid rise in altitude within the next day, whereas Annapurna Base Camp trek goes with a steady rise in altitude. During the EBC trek, you will reach 3,420 m above sea level on the 2 days whereas the change in altitude goes on very slowly in the Annapurna Sanctuary trek. In the context of views, both ABC and EBC offers magnificent views of nature along with nature full of routeway. Both base camps are worthy destinations to visit and make adventurous memories.
